Bio-Rad Laboratories, Inc. is Hiring a Quality Control Supervisor II Near Woodinville, WA

In this role as the Bio-Rad Quality Control Supervisor II role, you will suppport the manufacture of BioPlex commercial products with an emphasis on incoming inspection and raw material testing. Specific duties include reviewing Quality Control Mater Batch Records and inspection records, Quality Control data anaylysis/troubleshooting, management of Quality Control schedule and operators including ongoing/new employee training. Your responsibilities will also incude ensuring Raw Materials Quality Control operates according to Standard Operating Procedures and Test Method's employing Good Laboratory Practices in compliance with FDA/ISO regulations.
How You'll Make An Impact
  • Schedule and Manage employees to complete required testing. Ensure on-time testing, assay validity and data review. Review batch records to ensure compliance.
  • Set objectives for staff, monitor individual and team performance, coach employees to improve team performance and ensure compliance.
  • Participate in cross-functional teams such as Material Review Board, Quality Review Board, Corrective Action Review and scheduling meetings as needed.
  • Ensure lab compliance with safety regulations and Good Manufacturing Practices/Good Laboratory Practices, including equipment validation, calibration and maintenance requirements.
  • Track critical Quality Control data, monitor for trends and report to management.
What You Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in Life Science, Chemistry, Biochemistry or related field.
  • 6 years Quality Control or Manufacturing experience required.
  • 3 years Supervisory/team management experience required.
  • Capacity to rapidly acquire familiarity with BioPlex and BioPlex Assays.
  • Working knowledge of and experience working with assays is required.
  • Requires strong communication skills and ability to work cooperatively and professionally with cross-functional teams.
  • Requires strong analytical skills.

Compensation: The estimated annual salary for this position is $87,800.00 to $120,700.00 at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be provided in writing at the time of offer, if applicable, and is based on several factors we believe fairly and accurately impact compensation, including geographic location, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and other job permitted factors. This position is eligible for a variable annual bonus, which is dependent upon achievement of your individual objectives and Company performance.
