  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of Systems, Mechanical, Optical, Electrical and Software engineers in all aspects of systems design for Biomedical applications.
  • Work closely with Biology, Chemistry and Marketing teams to understand customer needs and provide input to sub-system requirements.
  • Develop automation and analysis scripts using common tools (e.g. Matlab, Python) to collect and analyze large amounts of opto-fluidic instrument data and diagnostics. Analysis includes developing the signal processing mathematics.
  • Build and test prototype or concept systems, using knowledge of vendors and rapid-turn manufacturers.
  • Work closely with systems integration teams to understand and characterize sub-systems when integrated into a product.
  • Support development and documentation of test protocols, plans and reports.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing, and support transfer of products from R&D to production.
  • Design and run experiments to characterize systems; hands on preparing and running test samples on instruments.
  • Troubleshoot systems, identify root cause and develop solutions for long term prevention of failures.
  • Ensure compliance with quality and regulatory requirements, including design control processes, risk management, configuration control, requirements management and verification testing.
  • Communicate results effectively, guiding the team through data and observations on critical design decisions.

What you Bring:
