Bio Town Biogas LLC – Regulatory & Compliance Associate - Minimum 3 days a week on-site (Reynolds, IN)
Bio Town Biogas LLC (“BTB”) is a waste-to-value company which utilizes organic waste products to produce renewable electricity and renewable natural gas. BTB is focused on producing low-cost renewable energy while also reducing carbon emissions. BTB is a partnership between Bio Town Ag, Inc., an Indiana multi-generational family farm, and Green Rock Energy Partners, a New York sustainable energy-focused private equity firm.
The Regulatory & Compliance Associate will perform activities essential to the effective operation of ongoing company functions regarding digester health and performance, and regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities

• Sample digester feedstock
• Collect & test weekly samples to understand Total Solids and Volatile Solids of material
• Test effluent for digester health monitoring
• Collect & coordinate shipping of samples to labs for analysis in accordance with permits
• Review and test new products for anaerobic digester
• Regulatory compliance and permits
• Perform weekly and monthly tasks for permit compliance
• Notify and follow timelines for emission testing of permitted equipment
• Prepare reports for submission on a monthly and quarterly basis to regulatory agencies
• Continuously review and update procedures and systems for adherence to permits
• Work closely with advisors to understand permits and changes to compliance

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in chemistry, biology, or other sciences
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and comfortable building data trend analysis
• Individual will have a positive attitude, good work ethic, and can work well in a team setting or autonomously. Candidate must be self-motivated and performance driven.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including a demonstrated ability to write effectively.
• Detail-oriented, analytical, and resourceful with excellent organizational skills

• Salary exempt position paid weekly.
