Biocorp is an independent laboratory looking to hire a reliable, flexible team player. Preferably 1-2 experienced phlebotomist or entry lever at least 1 year for Bakersfield, Ca. patient service centers. You must be able to work independently and efficiently. Sites typically service 5-30 patients in a work day. Service centers are stand alone and the technician must be confident to work alone, you must be able to work independently and efficiently. Some of the skill requirements are: processing, aliquoting, labeling, proper PPE, test requirement knowledge, specimen integrity, familiar with collecting specialty lab kits, basic computer skills, familiar with Google Chrome Apps, filing. Organization and cleanliness is a plus and the candidate will be responsible for keeping the office tidy. Communication, punctuality and costumer service skills are key. Work days are Monday through Saturdays with similar hours to 8:30am-5:30pm. This role will also require minimal travel within a 15-50 mile radius from time to time with paid mileage. Additional tasks may be offered paid and with mileage reimbursement. Employees are subject to 90 day probational period with evaluation. All benefits are available based upon eligibility after 1 year.
Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
