OBJECTIVE OF THE POSITION:

The Associate Sales Consultant is responsible for driving adoption of Biodesix products in the Georgia Territory. This field-based role will work alongside the Pulmonary Sales Consultant to support current business as well as gain adoption of Biodesix products in new accounts, primarily through direct interaction with physicians.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Primary responsibility is to increase utilization of Biodesix products within our current customer base. Specific responsibilities include:

• Works alongside the Sales Consultant to drive sales for Biodesix products within an assigned geographic territory
• Increasing utilization of current users through a focused clinical sale
• Recruiting all physicians in a practice/physician’s group to utilize Biodesix products
• Effectively onboarding accounts through a focused post-sale implementation process.
• Providing exemplary customer service through timely identification and resolution of customer issues, concerns, and objections
• Embodies the Biodesix brand and evangelizes our product portfolio
• Completion of all administrative tasks thoroughly and promptly

COMPETENCY OR POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

• Proven history of winning in medical or diagnostic sales. Evidenced by past professional accomplishments in healthcare-related fields
• Strong understanding of medical terminology, diagnostic procedures, and the healthcare industry
• Experience in field-based sales roles, preferably working directly with physicians and healthcare providers
• Proven history of teamwork. Evidenced by past professional, athletic, educational, or other accomplishments
• Excellent customer service skills, with a track record of building and maintaining relationships with healthcare professionals
• Ability to effectively communicate complex medical and scientific information to healthcare professionals

• Valid US driver's license and a driving record in compliance with company standards

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor’s Degree
• 2 year of sales experience preferred

TRAVEL PERCENTAGE:

• Up to 50% travel

SALARY RANGE:

• $70,000- $80,000 base
• Monthly commission based on sales target achievement
