The Systems and Support Engineer is a key contributor and critical to the success of the company. The Systems team works cross-functionally with other engineering disciplines, microbiology, chemistry, design quality, and other core business functions. Our team consists of engineers with varying backgrounds, and you will have the opportunity to be exposed to many different aspects of product development. You have a proven track record of leading cross functional team investigations, designing experimental studies, and have contributed to Verification and Validation of a product.. You should be excited by the prospect of working in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment and the following qualifications:

• Root cause Investigation into System issues including results based issues, hardware failures, and manufacturing related matters
• Support in-house laboratory systems by making minor updates to instrument to test new designs or hypotheses
• Provide leadership and guidance to engineering team in order to support release of new product design
• Write and execute verification studies and write verification reports
• Write supporting documentation such as architecture and design descriptions
• Create procedures that can be followed by Service engineering and manufacturing

 Knowledge, Expertise, and Skills

• A degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Computer, Systems, Biomedical Engineering or related field and at least 5 years of relevant industry experience.
• Experience with design control principles and practice; experience in medical or aerospace field is preferred
• Experience writing and executing test protocols and writing reports is a must
• Knowledge of Product Requirements and Specification development is preffered
• Hands-on experience troubleshooting and addressing medical instrument issues is preferred
• A proven track record of developing procedures and documentation in a regulated environment.
• Medical instrument product development experience is preferred.
• Full fluency (verbal and written) of the English language is a must
