BioTrans LLC is a global logistics provider specializing in cold chain transportation, technology and infastructure for the life sciences industry.

Shift: Sunday route starting approximately 8 am, Monday route starting at early as 4:00 am with Tuesday 8 am Warehouse duties. In state and out of state driving.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Safely operate, load, unload and deliver freight utilizing a small box truck or cargo van
• Adhere to assigned routes and follow time sensitive schedules that require detailed attention
• Ability to navigate surrounding areas using GPS and comfortable with scanning devices
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections; fuel the truck as needed; evaluate and report issues through the appropriate parties (dispatch/ managers)
• Clean, wash and sanitize assigned vehicles
• Ability to: Perform duties in all weather conditions; comply with local traffic laws and speed limits; read maps and/or navigate vehicle to delivery sites; maintain good work habits including reporting to work on time; learn and comply with all company work rules.

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions

• While performing the duties of the job, the employee is frequently exposed to outdoor weather conditions. The employee is occasionally exposed to wet or humid conditions (non-weather) and fumes or airborne particles. Must be able to safely tolerate heat in the summer and cold in the winter.
• The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
• Frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Frequent stooping, bending, kneeling and squatting.
• Extended periods of sitting.
• Sequential or simultaneous use of hands, arms, feet and legs.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements and Employee Expectations

• Must be at least 21 years of Age
• Valid drivers license
• Experience driving cargo vans and small box trucks.
• Be a quick learner, detail-oriented, dependable, have a positive attitude and willingness to work
• Basic computer, tablet and/or smartphone skills and GPS and other routing systems
• Show basic knowledge of Pre and Post trip inspection of vehicles
• Some mechanical aptitude to handle basic vehicle inspections for maintenance purposes
• Acceptable driving record (2 or fewer moving violations in the past 3 years and no DWI/DUI in the past 5 years for insurance purposes).
• Successful completion of a background check and drug screening
• Must NOT be restricted for access on military bases and government facilities
