The Embrace One Team Lead position is an opportunity within our growing Neuromodulation Business Unit. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced clinical specialist with a passion for helping patients with chronic pain and exceeding service goals. This leadership role requires managing other Embrace Care Specialists and providing technical, educational, and operational support. The candidate should ensure the highest reliability in workflows, case management, processes, products, and systems by being accountable, having a voice, and taking action.
Your Responsibilities
  • Partner with Regional Sales Directors and Territory Managers to communicate expectations on patient care, field, and customer needs. Understand how Biotronik products and Proactive Care services provide unique value to our patients and customers.
  • Spend 30% of time managing other Embrace Care Specialists and 60% covering patient triggers and necessary follow-up.
  • Manage other Embrace Care Specialists by sharing knowledge, leading workflow evolution, and communicating updates to Proactive Care tools.
  • Manage schedules for Embrace Care Specialists, coordinate field coverage when needed, and handle weekend on-call case coverage scheduling.
  • Lead, coordinate, and monitor activities of the Embrace Care Team, such as Proactive Care case resolutions, education calls, welcome calls, and BioVantage workflows. Assist with leading system and product troubleshooting, ensuring team protocols and workflows are followed and identifying new workflows or protocols as needed.
  • Expedite resolution of patient problems and complaints to maximize customer and patient satisfaction.
  • Track team performance with case resolution and data transmission rates to help meet KPI metrics.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
  • Lead the management of the telephony system.
  • Create and manage Jira tickets associated with Embrace Care Team tools.
Your Profile
  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Physiology, Biology, Bio-Engineering, or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in the medical device industry.
  • Prior experience as a clinical specialist, preferably in the Neuromodulation space.
  • Previous people management experience is a plus.
  • Experience working in an OR.
  • Proven track record with Biotronik and demonstrated leadership skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and processes with ease.
  • Highly motivated and target-driven with a proven record.
Work Environment
This job operates in various locations and environments. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers and phones and is also required to be around standard hospital equipment such as x-ray machines.

  • Frequently move up to 40 lbs. from floor to chair/table and from one to another surface at approximately the same level.

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to be independently mobile.
  • Constantly required to interact with a computer and communicate with peers, co-workers, healthcare providers and patients in order to exchange accurate information.
  • Must be able to visually examine anatomical structures via radiographic imaging.
  • Must be able to abide by medical facility mandated PPE requirements due to environmental exposures
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position for up to 8 hours total per day, and up to 4 hours continuously.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Standard days of work are Monday through Friday. Hours of work may vary depending on time zone supported. Occasional evening and weekend work will be required as job duties demand.
Travel
  • Available/willing to work/travel weekends and evenings
  • Ability to travel outside of assigned territory with ease, as needed
  • Ability to travel within assigned territory (approx. 50% of time)
  • Must have a valid driver's license and active vehicle insurance policy
