BioView develops and markets innovative automated cell diagnostic systems via fluorescence in-situ hybridization (FISH) for clinical and research laboratories. The Duet™, and ALLEGRO scanning workstations provide automated detection, analysis and reporting of cells of interest, under Fluorescence and Brightfield microscopy. Bladder Cancer FISH (UroVysion), Breast Cancer FISH (PathVysion) and Lung Cancer FISH (ALK) are among the FDA cleared applications.

Application Product Specialist-Basic Statement of Position

BioView is seeking a customer focused Product Specialist to join our Sales and Marketing team. The successful candidate may reside in the greater Boston area.

Primary responsibility is to promote company products. The incumbent implements the designed plan to achieve established sales and financial goals; may participate in the establishment of sales targets and design of the territory's sales plan

Key responsibilities:

· Performing webinars with Potential customers highlighting system capabilities

· Perform on site demonstrations of the system

· Calls on prospective and current company customers

· Attending Regional and National Trade shows (some international travel might be required)

Travel requirements: Up to 50% travel may be required

Qualifications:

· BA or BS in a life science

• 2 to 3 years’ experience as a Cytotechnician of FISH technician or similar work experience
• Familiarity with Automated imaging equipment (BioView or its competitors)
• Must be able to understand customer needs and relate them to BioView products
• Good organization and time management skills 
• Outstanding presentation skills 
• Ability to communicate at all levels internally and externally with customers 
• Strategic and tactical planning 
• Must be able to lift 70 pounds(for system installation )
• Lives in the Greater Boston area

Desired:

• Experience in laboratory with Cytogenetics and FISH assays
• Expert with BioView interface and technology
