BIOZYME is Hiring a Sanitation Specialist- Easton Near Saint Joseph, MO

The Sanitation Specialist - Easton is responsible for keeping the East and West warehouse areas, the office areas, and the restrooms clean and orderly.
ACCOUNTABILITIES

Practice proper and safe use of all warehouse equipment.
Maintain a clean and orderly work area by keeping tools and equipment in proper places and all materials off the floor.
Identify any unnecessary objects, tools, items, etc. in each zone and remove as necessary.
Follow and perform daily checklists and submit to the Fermentation Monitoring & Verification Manager.
Notify the Fermentation Monitoring & Verification Manager of any mechanical or material issues.
Follow all standard operating procedures as well as requirements set by SFSF, NASC and FAMI-QS.
Manage time for most effective way to utilize it for accountable growth.
Know one's culture index
Adheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes.
Participates in team huddles and CONNECTS
Compliant with all PPE policies
Completes all checklists as required
Notifies management of any material issues.
Maintains a positive and respectful attitude during all aspects of work including emails, phone calls, and peer interactions.
Performs other duties as assigned

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

Required Education - High school diploma or GED
Required Experience –
- Some work experience required.
Willing and able to work evening hours, overtime, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
Willing and able to wear the necessary Personal Protection equipment (PPE) (i.e. hard hats, safety glasses, face shield, chemical suit, respirator, ear plugs, hearing protection, steel-toe boots or safety shoes and other PPE required by specific jobs).
Ability to pass a written and driving exam to prove capability of safely operating a forklift.
Physically able to lift and move 50lb. on a regular reoccurring basis.
