- Operate as the mixing operator including:
- Ensuring precise measurements for each ingredient and their correct sequential addition to the formulated mix, minimizing deviations.
- Perform daily checklists and inspections.
- Maintain a working knowledge of macro and micro ingredients, premixes, equipment functions, mixer efficiency, blender, flushing and sequencing, equipment maintenance, material flow, weights and measures.
- Maintain the production batch record ensuring the run list is complete.
- Ensure the accurate measure and addition of medicated ingredients.
- Multitasks by filling micros and totes, monitoring potential deviations, and responding accurately to batching alarms.
- Responsible for the execution of mixer and magnet inspections.
- Implementing an accurate and efficient pelleting process.
- Recording amounts, production times, bin location, bin check, pellet mill settings and temp for all pelleting batches.
- Perform necessary recording and documentation of all pellets manufactured during shift.
- Daily operation of the pellet bagger to process and manufacture feed products according to checklist.
- Shrink wrap products to pallets when necessary.
- Gathering and stacking pellet bags in proper patterns for shipments; inspecting each bag to meet company’s strict quality standards.
- Implementing an accurate and efficient drying process.
- Monitor critical control points in the Amaferm drying process.
- Perform analysis on ingredients & finished product run through the dryer as required.
- Manage all performance measures related to drying.
- Complete the kitting process as manufacturing jobs (lot code batches) are completed.
- Understand and operate control logic processor for drying technology.
- Ensure accurate and timely checklist completion.
- Handles morning start-up and troubleshoots issues every day.
- Maintain clean and orderly work area by keeping tools and equipment in proper places and all materials off the floor of the area.
- Follow all standard operating procedures as well as requirements set by HACCP and FAMI-QS.
- Operate all manufacturing equipment safely and efficiently.
- Operate forklift equipment and ensures safety regulations are followed.
- Sweep and vacuum all areas daily.
- Dispose of trash twice a day.
- Clean up all product spills immediately and dispose.
- Notify the Senior Manager of Production of any mechanical or material issues.
- Using the systems as defined to log information.
- Consistent monitoring for pests.
- Monitoring for any off-spec material.
- Willingness, knowledge and ability to help as needed.
- Follow all standard operating procedures as well as requirements set by SFSF, NASC and FAMI-QS.
- Manage time for most effective way to utilize it for accountable growth.
- Know one's culture index

- Participates in team huddles and CONNECTS
- Compliant with all PPE policies
- Completes all checklists as required
- Notifies management of any material issues.
- Maintains a positive and respectful attitude during all aspects of work including emails, phone calls, and peer interactions.
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Required Education – High school diploma
- Required Work Experience – 1 years’ experience
