Medical Scribe - Mobile Teams

Position Overview: As a Medical Scribe for the Mobile Teams at Birds Eye Medical, you will play a crucial role in supporting various healthcare initiatives, including Covid-19, Flu, Mpox, and childhood immunizations. Your responsibilities will include data entry, assisting with clinic logistics, and participating in on-the-ground activities. Adaptability is key, as this role may require immediate response to urgent demands. Your contributions will be instrumental in realizing our mission of providing equitable access to vital healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately enter vaccination information into the BEM/EHR system (training provided).
• Screen patient paperwork for errors and corrections.
• Assist with the set-up and tear-down of mobile clinics.
• Adhere to patient confidentiality and handle sensitive information with care.
• Perform repetitive tasks efficiently and with attention to detail.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth clinic operations.

Qualifications & Physical Requirements:

• HS diploma required; 1 year of professional or personal experience in data entry in a healthcare setting preferred.
• Weekend availability strongly preferred but not required.
• Ability to work in outdoor environments; protection from weather provided.
• Empathy, compassion, dependability, and kindness are essential.
• Basic computer skills and overall technical savviness.
• Dependable personality and strong work ethic.
• Proof of eligibility to work in the U.S.
• Willingness to travel is strongly preferred but not required.
• Must be able to maneuver around various clinic sites and lift/move up to 20 pounds occasionally.

What We Offer:

• Competitive wages and bi-weekly pay (including overtime compensation if applicable).
• Paid Training - Virtual/Online/Hands-On.
• Mileage reimbursement (when driving > 40 miles from home to clinic in one direction) at $0.585/mile.
• Paid travel time (at hourly rate).
• Per diem ($89 per overnight stay to help compensate for time away from home).
• Company-paid hotels for necessary overnight stays.

COVID-19 Protocols and Essential Worker Support:

• PPE supplies provided if needed - masks (required), face shields, gowns, and gloves.
