Registered Nurse (RN) Mobile Vaccination Clinical Teams

Brief Overview:

We are seeking per diem Registered Nurses to assist us in our COVID-19 mobile vaccination efforts in counties across Arizona. No long-distance travel is necessary, but you will receive additional compensation, such as mileage reimbursement and travel per diem, for traveling longer distances within the state.

As part of the Mobile Vaccination Clinical Team operations, RNs will be responsible for administering COVID-19 vaccines. These vaccines are provided at various public health pop-up events, public schools, and community settings throughout Arizona. Operational duties include administering COVID-19 vaccines, pre-vaccination consultation, occasional blood pressure and blood glucose checks, and collaboration with team members and partner agencies. All applicants must hold an active Arizona state professional license and current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Schedule:

  • Per Diem, varying depending on the assignment.
  • You will receive a schedule of available clinics on a weekly basis and can choose clinics that fit into your schedule.

Location:

  • Office with supplies is based in Phoenix with pop-up events in Coconino, Gila, Maricopa, Pima, and Pinal Counties (long distance travel is optional).

What You'll Do:

  • Perform immunizations, including Covid-19.
  • Complete patient Covid-19 symptom pre-screenings.
  • Maintain professional workspaces in accordance with SOPs and safety guidelines. 
  • Input patient data into the Arizona State Immunization Information System.
  • Respond in the event of an adverse reaction.
  • Assist with site set-up and tear-down each day.

Requirements:

  • 1 year of experience as an RN in an acute care setting (preferred).
  • A valid/active RN Credential is required.
  • Empathy, compassion, dependability, and kindness are essential.
  • Basic computer skills and technical savviness.
  • Proof of eligibility to work in the U.S.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Must be able to maneuver around various clinic sites, including walking on uneven and/or slippery terrain.
