Role Description
This is a Perinatal Community Health Worker/Doula role based in Erie, PA. As a Perinatal Community Health Worker/Doula, you will provide non-medical physical, emotional, educational, and social support to moms throughout their pregnancy and into their 4th Trimester. You will work closely with our families and community partners to ensure our moms receive comprehensive care and support.

- Provide emotional support and guidance to expectant mothers before, during, and after childbirth.
- Assist with pain management techniques and comfort measures during labor.
- Educate clients on prenatal care, breastfeeding, and newborn care.
- Advocate for clients' birth preferences and ensure their voices are heard.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure a safe and positive birthing experience.
- Utilize strong communication skills to build trust and rapport with clients.
