Bishop Gadsden is searching for a Full Time Line Cook in our Independent Living setting!
Located on James Island, we are a not-for-profit, faith-based retirement community, affiliated with the Episcopal Church.
Bishop Gadsden is known as the Southeast's leading life care retirement community. We are located just 10 minutes from downtown Charleston!
We are looking for a full-time Line Cook to join our culinary team at Bishop Gadsden on James Island. The purpose of this position is to participate in creating and preparing hot food and cold food as well as accompaniments, and garnishes, as directed by the Executive Chef or the manager in charge.
These line cooks shall be able to work alone with minimal supervision and are to ensure that food is prepared in accordance with current applicable federal, state, and local standards and regulations as well as the quality of preparation and service guidelines as set forth by the Dining Services Department and Bishop Gadsden Community.
