BISHOP SEABURY ACADEMY is Hiring a Facilities Manager Near Lawrence, KS

Specific Duties Include The Following
- Develop and maintain institutional knowledge of facilities
- Oversee facilities repairs and maintenance, making minor repairs when possible and outsourcing those jobs as necessary
- Monitor functioning of the HVAC system and coordinate maintenance and filter replacement
- Oversee city, county, and state code compliance with facilities, communicate requirements to staff, and be present for inspections
- Maintain understanding of security and fire alert systems and communicate with security monitoring company as necessary
- Repair furniture as necessary and coordinate furniture orders and delivery
- Monitor upkeep of grounds, water plants, and communicate with lawn service regarding changes in service
- Hire and provide guidance to a third-party janitorial service
- Oversee preparation of the facility during the summer and specifically help faculty get situated in August
- Coordinate the rental of school facilities by outside parties
- Assist with coordination, setup, and execution of school events
- Oversee maintenance of the school vehicles
- Performs any other duties deemed necessary for the safe and efficient operation of the school
- A high school diploma (bachelor’s degree preferred) plus 3 years minimum of experience in facilities and grounds oversight
- Self-directed, highly organized, and capable of attending to several projects at one time and meeting deadlines
