Bison Water Midstream is looking for a Finance Associate to join our growing team. This position is responsible for assisting with budgeting, forecasting, modeling, variance analysis, cost analysis, reporting, as well as assistance with various M&A projects. The ideal candidate will possess a solid financial background and a good understanding of the oil and gas market. Responsibilities:

• Develop and own the corporate/budgeting models surrounding multiple different business lines
• Prepare Monthly, Quarterly and Ad-Hoc financial reports of various units and departments
• Develop economic/valuation models and presentations in support of acquisition and greenfield project underwriting as well as capital allocation decisions
• Analyze current and past trends in key performance indicators including all areas of revenue, gross profit margins, expenses, capital expenditures and liquidity
• Manage the continued development of various budgeting, financial forecasting, and modeling tools
• Analyze complex financial information and reports to provide accurate and timely financial recommendations to management for decision making purposes
• Prepare and present presentations for senior management team, lenders and investors as required

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics or similar
• 2 years of experience in a finance role, oil and gas industry experience is preferred
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint Skills with an emphasis on financial modeling and professional external presentations with minimal guidance (investor and lender relations)
• Understanding of general financial principles, accrual accounting, and working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), and how to apply these principles
• Ability to read, interpret and draw accurate conclusions from financial and numerical material
• Effectively communicate and present complex financial data (both verbally and written) to influence all levels and global audiences; helps others understand financial data and translate it into actionable business insights
• Ability to maintain stability under pressure and be flexible and willing to work outside of normal business hours when absolutely necessary
