Role Overview
We are seeking a Process Improvement Technician to join our Ingot department in Davenport, IA. This role involves a range of manufacturing process engineering and production activities aimed at enhancing efficiency and safety within the department.

Key Responsibilities

• Lean Manufacturing Implementation: Coordinate and apply Lean Manufacturing principles to optimize material flow and gain a thorough understanding of the manufacturing process.
• Tactical Projects: Focus on safety, recovery improvements, training, and production efficiency. Lead and support projects related to process improvements, capital projects, and reliability excellence.
• Problem-Solving: Execute problem-solving initiatives to address process and machine improvements. Flexibility to work off-shifts as needed to support these efforts.

Qualifications

Basic Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent (GED) from an accredited institution.
• 8 years of manufacturing experience.
• U.S. person status as defined by International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) which includes U.S. Citizens, U.S. Permanent Residents (Green Card Holders), Political Asylees, or Refugees.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States; Visa sponsorship is not available.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution.
• 3 years of supervisory experience.
• Experience with aluminum casting processes.
• Proficiency in applying Lean Manufacturing principles in a manufacturing setting.
• Strong skills in business, technical analysis, and problem-solving.
