About the Role:
Seeking a creative and experienced SaaS Developer Lead to join our dynamic backend team. Contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of our OTT Video SaaS products. Work closely with cross-functional teams to enhance user experience and drive innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Development: Lead creation and maintenance of OTT Video SaaS products.
- User Experience: Collaborate cross-functionally to enhance user experiences.
- Product Lifecycle: Own design tasks from start to finish.
- System Services: Manage and develop system services using cloud services.
- Applications: Oversee creation of distributed server applications.
- Architecture: Expertise in microservices architecture.
- DevOps: Manage cloud services with strong DevOps understanding.
- Troubleshooting: Effective debugging and troubleshooting skills.
- Maintenance: Understand, maintain, and improve existing software products.
- Leadership: Lead small agile teams and mentor junior engineers.
Profile Characteristics:
- Experience: 5-10 years using Java/C /JavaScript, including leadership in scalable applications.
- Product Experience : Experience with SaaS platforms/products
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with MySQL, Redis, Java frameworks (e.g., Spring Cloud), video and audio codec standards, multimedia transport protocols, cryptography, and cloud-based video workflows.
- Education: Minimum Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
- Other Skills: Ability to multitask, prioritize work, knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD tools, and familiarity with Agile methodologies.
Bonus Points For:
- Experience with live/VOD video streaming platforms/products.
- Understanding of Python, Go, or C#.
- Knowledge of Digital Rights Management Systems (DRM) and Blockchain/Web3 technology.
