OverviewThe Global Architecture & Platforms, Technical Portfolio& Platforms Management Team needs a strong Agile Program Manager who willlead self-organizing and self-managing teams and programs in applying andoptimizing Agile practices to maximize program performance and effectiveness.Responsibilities
- Operatesas a team-based servant leader who enables the team to self-organize,self-manage and deliver for the program at the highest level.
- Providesa Program Governance and manages the overall delivery operating model
- Managesoverall Program Budget in alignment to scope
- Drivesthe program in the coordination of major feature releases and helps ensureongoing delivery of value to customers where multiple teams are involved.
- Facilitatesprogram level processes and execution, identifies and manages dependencies andrisks, as well as escalates impediments.
- Coordinatesand facilitates iterative program level planning ceremonies (such as ProductOwner Syncs, Scrum of Scrums, Inspect and Adapt, Program Increment Planning,and System Demos).
- Managesand optimizes the flow of value via cross-organization collaboration.
- Proactivelymanages Program Risk through data-driven analytics and ongoing risk remediationefforts
- Drivesthe Product Owners, Product Managers and Agile teams to facilitate releaseplanning preparedness.
- Providestransparency into the organizations backlog, providing visibility to work inflight, aligned to progress against defined scope
- Accountablefor the overall program execution and delivery of work (schedule/capacity).
- Monitorsand reports program health (i.e., progress of feature completion, programpredictability) with the purpose to provide transparency on program delivery ofvalue.
- Coachesand leads the program team in practicing Agile principles and leadingpractices, identify program/team training opportunities and solution/facilitateas needed.
- Coachesand mentors leadership in Lean/Agile best practices and mindset.
Skills
- Advancedunderstanding of Agile Principles and how they’re applied in workplace culture
- Strongfacilitation, coaching and mentoring skills
- Experienceleading teams through resolution of program issues
- Strongcommunication, team dynamics, conflict resolution, mentoring, and servantleadership skills
- Advancedunderstanding of technology systems and the program’s ecosystem
- Advancedunderstanding of lean and program budgets
- Strongand natural problem solving ability; comfortable with data and ambiguity
Qualifications
- Minimum 6years relevant work experience
- Experienceworking with Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) tools
- Experiencewith other agile methodologies, LEAN, Kanban, XP Programming etc.
- Relevantcertification preferred
