This person needs to excel atdata analysis and synthesis while being a strong collaborator across functions.The right fit will thrive as an individual contributor in a fast paced, highlycomplex organization.The TeamYou will partner with the gender sport leads on theConsumer & Market Research team at the client's WHQ Headquarters in Beaverton,Oregon. You will report to (hiring manager title) and will supportsport-specific projects across the team. You will also intersect with multiplegroups across the Consumer Insights function, including Marketing Science, DataScience, Consumer Research, and Direct Analytics, as well as external agenciesand business stakeholders in Product Merchandising, Design, Strategy andMarketing.The ProjectYou will support the Consumer & Market Research team bymanaging multiple analyses against Global Learning agenda priority topics. Youwill pull and interpret data from internal analytics dashboards & externalsyndicated sources; complete market sizing and competitive analysis; and minequantitative survey data (i.e., stat testing). You may also partner with ourinternal research groups and external research agencies to synthesize primaryresearch data (i.e., reviewing & coding verbatims). Across all datasources, you will identify key themes and use those insights to create acompelling, robust understanding of the consumer.Responsibilities
Pull andanalyze data from internal CI sub-function dashboards & syndicated datasources
Partnerwith CI sub-functions to access relevant data and connect dots between GLAprojects; provide visibility to where data can be combined or complemented
Pull andanalyze data from existing quantitative data sets (Excel banners)
Assistwith design, execution and/or data visualization for primary research
Qualifications
Degreein research, marketing, statistics, analytics or product management preferred
3-5 years of experience in consumer research or analytics
Ahistory of skill and innovation in synthesizing complex findings, datavisualization and storytelling, and client presentation and partnerships
Abilityto manage a portfolio of research projects with multiple business partners in adynamic and evolving organization; strong project management skills
Experiencewith NPD, POS data, buyer profiles and basket analysis
Surveydesign and programming experience in self-service platforms
Familiaritywith Keynote preferred; fluency in data visualization required
AdvancedMicrosoft Excel skills preferred
Experiencewith Linkfluence and Edited preferred
Familiaritywith current sports and fitness retail landscape (digital and physical),including key footwear and apparel competitors, emerging trends and current events
Highattention to detail; excellent written & verbal communication
