Overview

The U.S. News adult methodology ranks clinical specialties and rates common care procedures and conditions. Christian was nationally ranked as “high performing” in the clinical specialty of geriatrics and in the following seven of 21 common procedures and conditions: heart attack, heart failure, kidney failure, diabetes, COPD, pneumonia and stroke. High performing in a specialty means we were in the top 10% nationally of all evaluated hospitals for that specialty or procedure and condition.

Northwest HealthCare, six miles west of Christian, offers 24- hour emergency care, the Sleep Disorders Center and a variety of outpatient diagnostic and imaging services.

The security department's goal is to maintain a safe work environment for all staff, visitors, patients and physicians.� Security is responsible for safety at the hospital, medical office building Village North Home, plus parking lots and roadways.� Security provides a visible presence to deter problems, in addition the security officers are trained to assist with violent people and situations.�

Preferred Qualifications

Role Purpose

Responsible for receiving, directing, processing, and routing all incoming and outgoing communications for the Security Department in accordance with Customer Service standards and expectations, and for performing other duties as required.

Responsibilities

  • Receives, processes, and transfers as appropriate all incoming and outgoing calls for the Security Department.
  • Answers and makes all calls utilizing approved messaging and scripting according to department procedures.
  • Completes daily events log, incident reports, and vehicle registration file.
  • Maintains accurate morgue records, parking registration cards, patient valuable log, lost and found log, and monitors key tracking.
  • Minimum Requirements
