The Digital Print Operator is technically proficient and responsible for set-up, operation and monitoring of equipment to safely perform digital printing for a variety of products according to specifications and high-quality requirements.

• Experienced with technical proficiency to understand printing processes for production on materials such as acrylic, various plastics and other materials
• Understands, navigates and performs set up and components of digital printing machine(s) for proper printing operations, including start up and shut down of machinery. Excellent trouble shooting and investigative skills to diagnose machine problems during performance, making adjustments/modifications as needed, including basic and prescribed maintenance of the machinery
• Flexible and adaptable to keeping projects running while preparing next job(s) and swapping parts out for multiple jobs. Performs quality control over jobs to assure proper job output. Maintains production and high-quality standards
• Operates and navigates computer software programs to maximize product and material usage for best efficiency
• Advanced computer skills and knowledge of Adobe products; works with graphic files to modify for output through RIP software; self-starter with initiative to dive into more research of settings available in software and to discern training videos and tutorials to learn additional functionality
• Works with and adjusts prepared or partially prepared graphic files/artwork for proper format and best layout for digital use of flatbed printer beds. Proficient ability to make modifications to customer specifications, color match values, spot layers, layout, rotation and layers of ink, etc…
• Runs production based on work orders, to manage daily and weekly workflow; reviews work orders for verification and accuracy; completes documentation accurately
• Operates measuring equipment, basic hand tools, measuring tools and other necessary job duty equipment and conducts resolution profiling on various materials with a spectrophotometer
• Highly diligent to keep work area clean and organized with an accurate documentation and filing system for product run repeatability from run to run, including retaining back up files
• Good communication skills to interact with team, leadership, customers and to troubleshoot with technicians from printer companies regarding issues with machines, should they arise. Communicates with other operators to share knowledge & status of production and feedback

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
