General Information & ResponsibilitiesBlack Hawk College seeks a part-time/ adjunct instructor to join the Health & Human Services Department to teach Clinical/lab Surgical Technology courses. Description Of DutiesFaculty member is expected to encourage learning by preparing appropriate syllabi; by developing lectures, discussions, and other presentations or activities to enhance the students educational experience; develops, and executes appropriate methods of evaluating students performance; develops, secures, and maintains the equipment and other instructional materials essential to the presentation of the classroom material. Education & ExperiencePosess Surgical Technology certification from the NBSTSA. Have a minimum total of two years of experience, either in the medical-surgical area in an operating room scrub role or as an instructor in surgical technology, a combination of both, within the past five years.
