Position SummaryFacilitate the accomplishment of business objectives through data analysis, metrics development and report creation. Detect opportunities and recommend solutions that guide operations leaders in data driven performance optimization.

Analyst: $69,350 - $104,000
Senior Analyst: $82,550 - $123,800
Reporting Relationship: Business Intelligence Supervisor
Locations: Rapid City, South Dakota, Council Bluffs, Iowa, or Fayetteville, Arkansas

Essential Functions
- Utilize business intelligence tools to create user-friendly reports
- Build, document, and maintain reports and dashboards for a large group of collaborators
- Promote a culture of knowledge sharing and data-driven decision making
- Use statistics to proactively explore data looking for deficiencies, failures and inefficiencies
- Develop key performance indicators and analyze results
- Translate business needs into technical requirements to develop analytics solutions
- Support project leaders and measure project implementation efforts through project KPIs, recommending adjustments as needed
- Partner with stakeholders across the organization to find opportunities to expand data and analytics practices
- Bachelor's Degree Analytics, engineering, mathematics, statistics, or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum of (3) three years of experience in analytics, developing reports and KPIs or related experience
- Bachelor's Degree Analytics, engineering, mathematics, statistics, or related field or equivalent
- (5) five or more years of experience in analytics, developing reports and KPIs or related experience
- Foundational understanding of statistical concepts and methods, such as correlation, hypothesis testing, regression analysis, and sampling techniques and the ability to apply these concepts to real-world problems and support data-driven decisions.
- Expert in the use of Excel formulas to manipulate spreadsheet data.
- Proficient in data visualization and developing KPIs.
- Experience creating reports in an analytics tool (Business Objects, Power BI, Tableau, etc).
- Present sophisticated analytics topic in a simple and straightforward manner.
- Basic understanding of database relationships preferred.
- Basic understanding of SQL.
