Black Owl Recruiting is sourcing for a Wood Framing Carpentry Foreman for a reputable client in Princeton, NJ. The Wood Framing Carpentry Foreman will be responsible for managing framing projects, implementing company policies to ensure the projects are completed on schedule, in a safe manner, and within the budget and to quality standards.
The candidate will have 5 years direct experience in residential new construction and renovations with good knowledge of all phases of wood framing.
Required Skills & Responsibilities:
- Ability to read and review blueprints, drawings, layouts.
- Knowledge of NJ building codes and safety requirements.
- Collaborate with project managers and local municipal inspectors.
- Schedule and coordinate subcontractors.
- Schedule material deliveries.
- Capability to manage overall job progress.
- Strong work ethic and leadership.
- Skills of snapping floorplan lines.
- Excellent understanding of carpentry techniques, materials and methods of installation.
- Proficient in using hand and power tools (powered saws, hammers, rulers etc.)
- Willing to put on tools & perform carpentry related tasks when needed.
- Residential Wood Framing: 5 years (Required)
- Supervisory/Management experience: 2-3 years (Required)
