Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Medical-Surgical team in Lawton, OK. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in nursing with a commitment to providing high-quality patient care. This role requires flexibility and a willingness to float to other departments as needed to support patient care across the facility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care in the Medical-Surgical unit, following established protocols and guidelines.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans to meet the individualized needs of patients.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, ensuring patient safety and adherence to best practices.
• Monitor patient vital signs, symptoms, and overall condition, making adjustments to care plans as necessary.
• Collaborate with physicians, healthcare professionals, and support staff to ensure coordinated and effective patient care.
• Educate patients and their families on health conditions, treatments, and post-discharge care plans.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, documenting all aspects of care in compliance with hospital policies and regulations.
• Ensure a safe and clean environment for patients, adhering to infection control policies and procedures.
• Demonstrate a willingness to float to other departments as needed, providing support where it is most needed within the facility.
• Participate in continuous professional development to stay current with the latest nursing practices and standards of care.

Must-Haves:

• Licensure: Current RN licensure in the state of Oklahoma.
• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN).
• Flexibility: Willingness to float to other departments as needed to support patient care across the facility.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $57,000.00 - $77,000.00 per year
