Must Maintain Assistive Technology Professional Certification
Focus on complex rehab growth within Central and Eastern Pennsylvania markets - both adult and pediatric
Knowledgeable about all levels of insurances and compensation
Knowledgeable about paperwork completion and computer information (Rehab Accelerate)
Knowledgeable about all levels of durable medical, rehab, ramps, and accessibility equipment
Knowledgeable about all levels of positioning, products available and custom fabrication possibilities
Knowledgeable about anatomical measurement techniques
Request Evaluation Equipment as time allows
Assist in Assembling Evaluation and Patient Owned Equipment as needed
Assist Repair Team in patient owned and stock chair repairs as needed
Transport Trial Equipment to Clinical Settings for Completion of Wheelchair Specifications
Work directly with Clinical staff and client for proper set up of equipment, programming, sizing, accessories, adjustments, training, etc.
Transport Evaluation Equipment to Patient's home for Home Assessment
Complete Patient Evaluation Form comprehensively
Complete written specifications promptly for timely filing
Obtain price quotes from manufacturer and assess cost vs. allowable ratio for profitability
Communicate ongoing transactions to Sales Coordinators for optimal customer servicing
Document phone calls taken and/or communication with patients, referral sources, etc. in patient file, according to department policy
Answer client or referral phone calls daily or instruct sales coordinator on how to espond
Prepare Bid Requests
Schedule, prepare and/or present inservices as requested by manager
Market company services, working vertically within referral sources; establish new referral sources
Assist with Inventory recommendations and physical inventories as requested
Work directly with Marketing Representative to develop new referral sources or maintain current referrals
Build and deliver final Rehab Product to client (either at patient home or clinical setting) and fit to client's anatomical measurements, positioning, or programming needs
All other duties as assigned by management
CONTINUING EDUCATION: * Maintain CEU's yearly * Avail self of audio and video tapes * Attend workshops, in-services and seminars as requested Qualifications MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Assistive Technology Professional Certification. High school or equivalent education required. Post high school education desired, with course of study including anatomy, physiology, and/or orthotics. Individual must be detail oriented and possess excellent communication and human relation skills.
