Location: Florence, KY
Salary: $100,000 DOE
Position Summary: The successful candidate will have experience in design work, project management, and the ability to collaborate to support plant operations and capital projects. This is a full-time, direct hire role.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed engineering analysis, design, and sketches for Capex and plant support projects
- Review and approve engineering drawings and calculations
- Develop equipment specifications for material handling, packaging, pumps, and tanks
- Supervise and guide Designers, Drafters, and Engineers
- Develop project scopes, estimates, and present findings
- Ensure safety practices are followed in design and documentation
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- 5-7 years of experience in Design Engineering
- Proficient in AutoCAD and MS Office Suite
- Knowledge of ANSI, OSHA, NFPA, ASME, API, and relevant codes
- Basic understanding of the chemical industry and manufacturing processes
