- Perform all or some of the following: organize/plan jobs, write/review specifications, write technical bid evaluations, prepare/maintain schedules, develop/monitor estimates and Client forecasts, work with project/client/field, material procurement, permit, and subcontract activities.
- Utilize vendor data and work with personnel from other disciplines as required for the performance of designs. Utilize/perform squad checks of vendor data and drawings from other disciplines.
- Exhibit thorough understanding of pertinent codes and governing regulations and industry practices, etc.
- Preparation of Scope of Work and construction work packages (CWP's).
- Preparation of Scope of Work and Contractor Bid documentation packages.
- Assisting in the ongoing development of TWD internal systems to improve our quality and efficiency of delivering effective projects to clients.
- General support to the Mechanical Engineering discipline.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized post-secondary institution.
- Site experience within the Oil Refinery Industry.
- 10 years experience as a Mechanical Engineer.
- Turnaround Experience
- Experience with AutoCad.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel and Project).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills are required, and experience in a client facing role is strongly preferred.
