Position: Structural Engineer (Bulk Handling Projects)

Are you ready to engineer your path to success? Join our client's dynamic team as a Structural Engineer specializing in bulk handling projects!

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with project teams to prepare structural designs and drawings from the initial concept through to completion.
• Conduct hand calculations and computer simulations to ensure compliance with all applicable codes and standards.
• Partner with the drafting department to create detailed general arrangement and fabrication drawings.
• Gain invaluable experience shadowing senior engineers and participating in equipment and shop inspections.
• Provide field reviews and support for ongoing construction projects.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering; a focus on structural engineering is preferred.
• Experience with AutoCAD or similar drafting tools.
• Proficiency in RISA-3D, STAAD, or similar structural analysis software.
• Knowledge of Autodesk Inventor or other FEA analysis suites is a plus.
• Familiarity with industry standards such as the AISC Steel Construction Manual, ACI 318, and AWS D1.1.
• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Willingness to travel up to 15% for project-related work.
• Project management experience and a customer-oriented mindset are highly desirable.
