Team Overview:

Aladdin Client Services is a part of the Aladdin Client Business within BlackRock Solutions' Aladdin Business. BlackRock Solutions offers BlackRock and other big institutional investors best-in-class risk analytics and investment management through its Aladdin platform. Aladdin Client Services is responsible for all daily communication and assistance with users.

As an Aladdin Client Services Analyst, you will:

Assist our clients in using Aladdin for their business operations: You will address issues and solve challenges that pertain to Aladdin and affect our clients. This will enable you to develop deep technical skills while enhancing your understanding of the financial industry and client relationship management.

Apply technical skills to address challenges: You will use technical skills (such as SQL, UNIX, Python) to verify the quality of big analytical data sets, streamline processes with scripts, and effectively access information from back-end databases.

Enhance the customer experience and our product by offering education, insights, and feedback: We believe that the best customer service is proactive, not reactive. We learn from our own data, and we talk to our customers to prevent problems from happening, rather than concentrating only on issues that are reported to us.

Join a local team, with a global impact: We support markets around the world whenever they are open. You will work with teams across different countries, while still being part of a vibrant local team

Key Responsibilities:

  • Triage inbound client inquiry with a focus on prioritization and criticality of underlying request.
  • Act as key liaison between relationship managers, Aladdin engineering and external Aladdin clients,
  • Build deep expertise in workflows and user segments across the Aladdin ecosystem.
  • Educate users, leverage service insights, and relay user experience feedback to improve the customer experience and our product. 

Knowledge/Experience:

  • 1-3 years’ experience in finance, technology, or customer-centric industry.
  • Technical skill or exposure to SQL, UNIX and/or languages like Python or Java.
  • Proficient oral and written communication skills; highly attentive to client service and support.
  • Able to use problem-solving and critical-thinking skills to identify, create and implement solutions.
