What you will be working on:As the Systems Administrator (Research), you will:
- Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 desktop support services across a diverse user base, including on-call support for desktop software.
- Support end user devices such as workstations, monitors, voice devices, printers, scanners, and personal IT devices.
- Manage desktop imaging, home directory and profile support services.
- Offer operations services for directory, authentication, user account management, and DNS/DHCP domain services.
- Perform patch management for Windows devices across multiple networks and execute software installations and upgrades.
- Develop technical solutions for managing networks, software, hardware configurations, and architectures.
- Technical Training, Certification(s), or a relevant Degree.
- 5 years of related experience in systems administration.
- Strong ability to work seamlessly in a team environment.
- Experience with Service .
- Proficiency in software deployment and network patching.
- Scripting experience and demonstrated support for Windows & Linux environments.
- Advanced troubleshooting skills.
- Experience in a research-focused IT role or similar.
- Additional certifications in network or systems management.
