Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Accounting Assistant at Blackstone Construction in Birmingham, AL. The Accounting Assistant will be responsible for day-to-day tasks related to financial statements, accounting software, accounting, finance, and bookkeeping. The role will involve working closely with the finance team and assisting with various financial and administrative tasks.
Qualifications
- Experience in financial statements, accounting software, accounting, finance, and bookkeeping
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial data
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is preferred
- Relevant certifications such as CPA or CMA are a plus
- Experience in the construction industry is a plus
