**Responsibilities:**
- **Accounts Payable:**
- Process vendor invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Reconcile vendor statements, resolve discrepancies, and maintain positive vendor relationships.
- Prepare and process electronic payments and manual checks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to obtain necessary approvals for invoices.
- Assist in month-end closing activities related to accounts payable.
- **Payroll:**
- Process payroll in a timely and accurate manner, adhering to established payroll schedules.
- Verify and enter employee time data, ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable laws.
- Resolve payroll discrepancies and answer employee inquiries regarding payroll matters.
- Assist in the preparation of payroll-related reports for management.
- Stay updated on payroll regulations and compliance requirements.
- **Documentation and Recordkeeping:**
- Maintain organized and accurate records for accounts payable and payroll transactions.
- Ensure all documentation is in compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
- Assist in the development and improvement of accounts payable and payroll processes.
- Proven experience in accounts payable and payroll processing.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Proficiency in relevant accounting and payroll software (e.g., QuickBooks, ADP, or similar).
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
