Responsibilities
- Evaluate residents' physical health and functional abilities through comprehensive assessments
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings
- Administer therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and assistive devices as needed
- Monitor and document residents' progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate and optimize resident care
- Provide education and guidance to residents and their families on therapeutic exercises and strategies for maximizing function and independence
- Maintain accurate and complete documentation of all evaluations, treatments, and progress notes

Requirements
- Valid and unrestricted Physical Therapist Assistant license in the state of North Carolina
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program
- Strong knowledge of physical therapy principles, techniques, and evidence-based practice
- Excellent observational, analytical, and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Experience in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care setting is preferred
- Training & Development
