Blake Smith Staffing, LLC is Hiring an Accounts Receivable Near Norwalk, CT

Accountabilities: Reports to the Director of Finance. The Accounts Receivable position will be responsible for managing all receivables within the Company, including but not limited to VA Hospital collections, Pro Sports (AARP insurance & Workers Comp, Commercial Carriers (Workers Comp, Medicare, Aetna, Florida Blue), as well as vendors, partners, consultants & distributors.

Expectations:
•General Accounting & Cash Management: manage/execute all functions related to Accounts Receivables
•Ensure timely receivables and posting within QuickBooks and other software
•Must have experience with medical billing, collections & finance reporting within the DME space
•Research, reconcile & resolve all invoices discrepancies and allocations
•Communicate with internal & external stakeholders with proper follow up to conduct timely collections process
•Preferable experience with WorldPay, PayTrace, HomeLink, Echo, Care Centrix, Boost, DOL, etc.
•Reporting- weekly/ad hoc finance reporting
Key performance indicators (KPI's):

AR Cash in
Anything over 45 days past due
Experience and Skills:
§ 2-year(s) experience, strong history in managing AR functions
§ Must have experience with Collecting A/R for workers comp & Commercial Insurance
§ Experience with Brightree preferred
§ Must have experience with QuickBooks & Microsoft 365
§ Organized & Detail Oriented
§ Quick Learner & Flexible
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively.
  • College degree preferred.
Compensation and Benefits:
Preference: Candidate can work at HQ office in Norwalk CT.
