Responsibilities:
- Manage the CTRM implementation - finalization of installation, successful testing, and roll out Group wide
- Establish processes, policies, and procedures for all operational requirements and ensure they are being adhered to
- Ensure timely handling of all contract and contract/logistic related issues, including freight, chartering/vessel nominations, laytime and demurrage calculations, storage, logistics, and cost accrual updates
- Negotiation of global cargo marine insurance policy and claims reporting, and ensuring compliance with reporting requirements
- Oversee the timely submission of monthly/quarterly/annual reporting requirements requested by Accounting/Credit, including requirements needed for the annual audit
- Oversee US Customs to ensure compliance with US entry requirements and various trade policies
- Responsible for Regulatory Compliance, including annual training of traders in compliance with metal exchanges the Group trades on
- Oversight of shipping department, port operations, and vessels
- Work closely with compliance team to ensure proper policies, processes and procedures are in place to avoid any violation of sanctions
- Work closely with ESG to ensure proper reporting for annual sustainability report
- Continually monitor and review team staffing levels and ensure they are sufficient to meet the needs of the business, assisting HR with recruiting when needed
- Perform other duties as requested or assigned
- Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree in Business Administration a plus
- Approximately 5-15 years of operations experience within the commodity sector (preferably metals), with a minimum of five years' managerial experience in logistics and commodity administration
- Able to work in an aggressive, fast-paced, and time-sensitive environment, communicating with colleagues in multiple time zones
- Experience previously managing or was part of a CTRM implementation and is technologically sophisticated
- Has a complete understanding of all aspects of supply chain management and reporting
- Must be able to communicate effectively and efficiently with individuals in all levels of the business and different cultures
- Ability to adapt quickly to handle special projects or tasks which the Company may require from time to time
- May be required to travel internationally
- Excellent computer skills required, with an active understanding of the complete suite of Microsoft Office products and the ability to quickly learn multiple in-house proprietary software systems that track the Company Group's products
- Work onsite 5 days a week
