Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Education Director to lead our educational programs. The ideal candidate will be passionate about education and possess strong leadership skills to drive the success of our academic initiatives.
Duties
- Assist in Overseeing all aspects of educational programs, including curriculum development, implementation, and evaluation
- Provide strategic direction and leadership in education administration
- Manage budgeting and resource allocation for educational projects
- Conduct research to stay abreast of current trends in education and implement best practices
- Recruit, train, and evaluate teaching staff
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure educational goals are met
- Write reports, proposals, and other educational materials as needed
Experience
The successful candidate should have:
-Five years of group teacher’s experience plus academic course work pertinent to the appropriate age level.
-Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education
-Valid New York State Professional Teacher’s Certification (Birth-2)
- Proven experience in education administration and leadership roles
- Strong budgeting skills and experience managing resources effectively
- Expertise in curriculum development and implementation
- Ability to educate and mentor staff effectively
- Administrative proficiency in overseeing educational programs
- Experience in recruiting and evaluating teaching staff
- Excellent research skills to inform decision-making processes
- Previous background in higher education teaching is a plus
