Job Summary:

Blasius Kia is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as Accounts Payable. As a member of the Accounts Payable team, you will be responsible for accurately processing and recording payments to vendors, maintaining vendor records, and providing excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders. This is a full-time position in the Auto industry located in Watertown, Connecticut, with the opportunity for growth and advancement.

Responsibilities:
- Maintain master vendor list and ensure accuracy of vendor information
- Review and process invoices for payment, ensuring proper coding and approvals
- Prepare and process payment runs, including checks and ACH payments, in a timely manner
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies
- Respond to vendor inquiries and maintain positive relationships with vendors
- Assist with month-end close by providing necessary reports and documentation
- Serve as a resource to internal stakeholders on accounts payable processes and policies
- Continuously identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, as well as federal and state regulations
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent, with at least 2 years of experience in accounts payable or related field
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills with ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Experience with accounting software, such as QuickBooks, preferred
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on delivering excellent customer service
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles and procedures
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and tasks
