Blazer Jobs is actively seeking experienced Special Education Teachers to join our team in North Chicago, IL. We are dedicated to providing high-quality educational services and support to students with special needs.

Requirements:

• Valid Special Education Teacher certification in Illinois
• Compliance with all local and state regulations for special education teaching
• Experience working with special education students and families preferred

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with special needs
• Provide direct instruction and support to students in various academic subjects and life skills
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and parents to ensure student success
• Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting teaching strategies as needed
• Maintain accurate records and documentation related to student progress and IEP goals
• Attend and participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and other school-related meetings as required
