Requirements:

• Valid state teaching certificate with Special Education endorsement.
• Bachelor's degree in Education or related field and Master's in Special Education or related field
• Knowledge of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and experience in their development and implementation.
• Proficiency in assessing student needs and adapting curriculum accordingly.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with students, parents, and colleagues.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with special needs.
• Provide instruction tailored to individual student's abilities and learning styles.
• Assess student progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed.
• Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to ensure inclusive learning environments.
• Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress and goals.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of student performance and interventions.
