Position Overview: As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a crucial role in supporting students' ability to participate fully in school activities and achieve their educational goals. We are seeking dedicated individuals who are passionate about helping students overcome barriers to participation and succeed in school.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess students' fine motor skills, sensory processing, and activities of daily living.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students' fine motor, sensory, and self-care needs, in alignment with their Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
• Provide direct occupational therapy services to students in individual or group settings, utilizing evidence-based interventions and techniques.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to integrate occupational therapy goals into the academic curriculum and classroom activities.
• Monitor students' progress and adjust intervention plans as needed based on ongoing assessment data.
• Provide consultation and training to school staff on strategies for supporting students' sensory and motor needs in the classroom.
• Maintain accurate documentation and records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

Requirements:

• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy or related field
• Valid licensure or certification as an Occupational Therapist in the state of Georgia
• Experience working with children and adolescents with diverse disabilities in educational settings
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
