Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological assessments to evaluate intellectual, emotional, and behavioral disorders.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students.
  • Provide counseling and support to students experiencing emotional or behavioral issues.
  • Conduct research to develop and implement behavioral management techniques.
  • Participate in meetings and workshops to stay updated on best practices in school psychology.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student assessments and progress.
  • Advocate for the needs of special education students and their families.
  • Collaborate with school staff to create a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students.

Requirements:

  • Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field.
  • Valid state licensure/certification as a School Psychologist.
  • Experience working with special education students and families preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
