We are looking for a Staff Accountant to join the Finance team and help the company achieve its growth targets.
Responsibilities
Oversee, maintain, and track records and financial transactions.
Participate as a key member of the month-end close
Prepare journal entries
Perform reconciliations for banks, credit cards, and other account balances
Bring the books to the trial balance stage
Creation of general financial statements
Document accounting processes
Prepare outgoing payments
Work with benefits carriers to administer benefits to applicable employees, health insurance & 401k
Process new employee and employment termination financial paperwork
- Hands-on position, reporting to the Controller.
Qualifications
- 2 years of experience in Finance/Accounting
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or any related field
- Working knowledge of GAAP and other applicable accounting standards and practices
- Experience with Accounting software and Excel
