Business Data Analyst - Finance

Location: Phoenix, AZ – Hybrid (3 days onsite)

$55 - $60 per hour

Role Overview: Blend is seeking a Business Data Analyst to join our team and work on migrating different market platforms. This role focuses on the journey of data through the application process for consumer and small business card applications. The successful candidate will be responsible for deciding what fields are brought in and performing data mapping, particularly for acquisition journeys in various international markets such as Singapore, Netherlands, Finland, Austria, and Belgium. The work will primarily be done in Excel.

Key Responsibilities:

• Understand and map data fields from the front end to downstream systems for various processes including risk assessment, customer relationship management, data storage, and fulfillment.
• Collaborate with product managers, technical stakeholders, and application owners to ensure accurate data flow.
• Participate in the onboarding and acquisition journey of data for consumer and small business card applications.
• Work within a large market migration program, contributing to the successful migration of an additional 10 markets.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Strong data mapping experience, particularly in acquisition or onboarding contexts.
• Proficiency in Excel for data analysis and mapping tasks.
• Ability to understand data flows and integration points within various systems.
• Excellent communication skills with a collaborative mindset.
• Ability to work closely with product managers and other stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a drive and desire to learn and figure things out independently.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in the financial services industry.
• Previous involvement in onboarding or acquisition journey projects.
• Familiarity with the processes and challenges of migrating market platforms.

• Polished communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Self-motivated with the ability to jump in and run with tasks.
