STARTING RATE: $30.78 (WITHOUT EXPERIENCE) $4.50 SHIFT DIFFERENTIAL IF APPLICABLE

JOB SUMMARY
This position is responsible for assessing patient/family health problems and resources, taking a leadership role in the development, implementation and outcomes evaluation of a plan for nursing care provided by the nursing team, as well as providing direct nursing care and intervention to designated patient populations. This position requires providing services to one or more age populations, in a manner that demonstrates an understanding of the functional/developmental age of the individual served.
This position requires full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of Blessing Hospital. It is expected that the employee demonstrate behavior consistent with the Core Values while supporting the strategic plan, goals, and direction of the Performance Improvement Process (PIP) at Blessing Hospital.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Training/Experience:
REQUIRED:
  • Graduate of an RN School of Nursing
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
PREFERRED:
  • Certification in clinical specialty when eligible.
  • BSN
License/Certifications/Special Requirements:
  • Possesses current Illinois RN license.
  • Completes Basic Cardiology Course within 6 months of hire.
  • Completes ACLS within 6 months of hire and maintains.
  • Completes annual skills validation.

  • Non-Exempt Hourly
