Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to join our growing PMO team, specializing in healthcare based implementations. This role involves leading multiple projects for complex mid to large healthcare industry clients. Your expertise involves navigating complex healthcare environments, working with diverse stakeholders, and leveraging your extensive project management experience to achieve. 

You will collaborate with stakeholders ensuring the seamless integration of technology solutions. Key responsibilities include project planning, resource allocation, risk management, and maintaining adherence to project timelines. This senior professional plays a crucial role in ensuring that the blockit platform implementations align with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and meet the specific needs of our clients. successful outcomes in the ever-evolving landscape of healthcare technology.

Primary Responsibilities: 

  • Responsible for overall successful project planning, execution, and delivery.
  • Responsible for developing and approving Blockit's project charter, delineating roles, responsibilities, and relevant stakeholders crucial for achieving project objectives. 
  • Define project scope, generate a work breakdown structure (WBS), and collect requirements. 
  • Plan, develop schedules, estimate resources, and identify interdependencies and durations of project activities.
    Estimate costs, determine budgets, and establish plans for communication and quality management.
  • Identify potential risks, conduct qualitative and quantitative risk analyses, and devise mitigation strategies. 
  • Determine procurements and align stakeholder expectations. 
  • Establish Gantt charts, develop communication plans, and create staffing plans, including RACI matrices. 
  • Direct the implementation and execution phases, managing communications, securing necessary procurements, and overseeing quality management, including KPIs, Success Criteria Alignment, RAIL, and RAID.
  • During the monitoring and controlling phase, initiate change control as needed, validating and controlling project scope, costs, and deliverable quality. Additionally, actively manage risk by identifying, communicating, and mitigating potential areas of concern.
  • Create and maintain the project charter, project schedule, and Jira epics and tickets, including FR, UAT, and GL. Manage project documentation and artifacts, and schedule and lead both internal and client meetings on a weekly basis.

  • Strong organizational skills to oversee end-to-end implementation projects, adhering to project methodology, timelines and deliverables.
  • Deep understanding of healthcare industry-specific processes with a specific focus on scheduling and referral workflows, EMRs, PMs, compliance, and standards, staying informed about industry trends and best practices.
  • Strong technical acumen, with ability to configure and troubleshoot technical issues.
  • Exceed customer expectations with an unwavering commitment to customer delivery, demonstrating innovative thinking to enhance client experiences.
  • Possess exceptional skills in building and managing client relationships, establishing strong rapport with clients.
  • Demonstrate a proven ability to cultivate strong working relationships, internally and externally, fostering collaboration and a positive working environment.
  • Collaborate seamlessly with internal business partners to meet client needs, ensuring the fulfillment of client Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Possess exceptional organizational skills, enabling the effective prioritization of multiple projects, activities, and deadlines.
  • Utilize strong analytical capabilities to analyze and interpret data, supporting client strategy and ongoing initiatives effectively.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Flexibility to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.

Education and Experience:

  • 5 years experience in Project Management position in a healthcare setting highly preferred
  • 2-3 years of people leadership experience preferred
  • PMP Certification, Lean Six Sigma or additional project management certification is highly preferred; or eligibility to obtain certification within 12 months of employment
  • Experience working in a SaaS, healthcare technology/IT, or healthcare B2B environment highly preferred 
  • Experience working in a startup environment is desirable
