BLOOM ROADSIDE

Summary of Role

Working manager who works and leads shifts, operates, and coordinates the scheduling, purchasing, planning, organizing, training and leadership necessary to achieve stated objectives in sales, costs, employee retention, guest service and satisfaction, food quality, cleanliness and sanitation.

Duties & Responsibilities

Cost of Goods
o Ensure that all food and food products are costed in range with COG goals, consistently prepared and served according to the restaurant’s recipes, portioning, cooking and serving standards. Budget 25% COG – Food.
o Purchase all from approved vendors, update POS Pricing, extend inventories monthly and run COG for all Beverages at 25% cost.
o Schedule labor as required by anticipating business activity while ensuring that all positions are staffed when and as needed and labor cost objectives is met. PAYCOR. Budget 30% COG Labor.

Sales Growth
o Achieve company objectives in positive sales growth, superior service, quality control, product appearance, facility, sanitation and cleanliness through training of employees and creating a positive, productive working environment. Sales Goal is net positive Year over year sales growth.

Administration
o Control cash and other receipts by adhering to cash handling and reconciliation procedures in accordance with restaurant policies and procedures.
o Make employment and termination decisions.
o Understand completely all policies, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines and training programs.
o Prepare all required paperwork, including forms, reports and schedules in an organized and timely manner.

Operations
o Ensure that all guests feel welcome and are given responsive, friendly and courteous service at all times. Ensure all employees are managed in a professional and enriching manner at all times in accordance to the rules as written in the Bloom General Store employee handbook.
o Fill in where needed to ensure guest service standards and efficient operations.
o Ensure that all equipment is kept clean and kept in excellent working condition through personal inspection and by following the restaurant’s preventative maintenance programs

o Ensure that all products are received in correct unit count and condition and deliveries are performed in accordance with the restaurant’s receiving policies and procedures.
o Fully understand and comply with all federal, state, county and municipal regulations that pertain to health, safety and labor requirements of the restaurant, employees and guests.

Development
o Continually strive to develop your staff in all areas of professional development. Meet with and complete quarterly reviews for all employees.
o Be knowledgeable of restaurant policies regarding personnel and administer prompt, fair and consistent corrective action for any and all violations of company policies, rules and procedures.

Marketing
o Market the restaurant through social media, promotional activities and campaigns.
o Responding to any customer complaints in an immediate and highly prioritized manner. Communicate with your team on all correspondence with guests regarding complaints and the follow-up regarding the complaints.

Qualifications:
o Must be a US Citizen or be able to qualify to work and be approved by EVerify.
o Have expert knowledge of service and food and beverage, generally involving at least five years of front-of-the-house operations and/or assistant management positions.
o Possess basic math skills and possess computing skills in order to work with the companies POS system Toast, Microsoft Excel/Sheets, Microsoft Word/Docs and QuickBooks Accounting Programs.
o Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time.
o Must be Serve Safe Certified.
o Be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 35 pounds. Must have the stamina to work 50 to 55 hours per week.

Compensation

o Base Salary of $50,000 annually performance based bonuses.
