We are looking for a **Sr. Director, Product Management** to join our team in one of todays most exciting technologies. This role will report to **Vice President, Product Management** and will be based in **San Jose HQ Office**.

**Location:** This position will be based in San Jose, CA

**Role and Responsibilities:**

* Understand the hydrogen market, related energy industry, and competitive landscape

* Understand transportation sector; Marine, Electrical Vehicle and Aviation.

* Prioritize requirements for the product; define the vision for the product, and collaborating with other teams from the engineering, marketing, sales, and operations departments to ensure that the financial and consumer satisfaction goals are met

* Must have a proven track record in product planning, defining, and launching successful products, and unifying product portfolios

* Must demonstrate thought leadership to be better position, drive and inspire market creation

* The Sr. Director of Product Management must possess excellent communication skills both verbal and written form. These are necessary because the position is cross-functional in nature and demands constant interactions and deliberations with other departments

* Develop and deliver external messaging for media, analysts, and other stakeholders

* Take responsibility for the annual sales targets, market growth, and margin for the product line

* Conduct quantitative and qualitative market analysis including prioritizing potential markets, segments, and customers

* Drive product requirements and solution roadmap working across R&D and program management

* Develop strategies for new market and customer segment penetration

* Work cross functionally and collaboratively with Blooms sales, product development, customer installation group, business development and finance teams

**Skills and Experience:**

* 20 years of experience in a mix of technical oversight and product management

* Electricity/Energy sector experience strongly preferred

* Excellent communication skills both written and oral

* Strong analytical and financial skills

* Ability to take complicated technical concepts and work with various stakeholders to determine solution level requirements

* A Bachelors degree required, and MBA is highly preferred.

* Conduct quantitative and qualitative market analysis including prioritizing potential markets, segments, and customers

* Strong mix of technical and business experience

* Develop requirements and plan product roadmaps with a business owner mindset

* Develop plans to introduce new solutions, end to end, internally and externally

* Work cross functionally and collaboratively with Blooms product development, marketing, business development and finance teams
